Activities for Young Paleontologists


The PaleoZone is the Western Interior Paleontological Society's outreach program to teach children and teens about fossils.
  • Open to members of WIPS who have a family membership
  • For kids elementary school age (7 and above) and older
  • Fun activities for children to learn about fossils and ancient life
  • Field trips to discover fossils
  • Usually meets the third Sunday of the month at the Dinosaur Ridge Discovery Center
  • Online meetings are also sometimes held
